The partners of BLVD have gained extensive industry experience over the past two decades. It is this experience that helped us align business objectives with the key insights that have shaped who we are. We know that clients value senior talent, strategic know-how, flexibility, accountability, tactical excellence, and return on investment. Today we are BLVD, a marketing agency formed in 2011 by long-time friends who help clients realize their imagined futures.
The agency is managed by four senior partners with expertise in branding, advertising, marketing, public relations, digital and social media. Our business model emphasizes resourcefulness and unbiased media channel delivery, enabling us to curate experienced talent to match our client’s needs and investment expectations.
Scott is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning Creative & Design Director with over 20 years of professional achievement. Scott brings a passion for his craft matched by a deep commitment to creating clear, intelligent communications that differentiate brands and drive clients’ business objectives.
His innovative work has caught the attention of the Canadian press and the international design community, with numerous awards and accolade from Applied Arts, How, ADCC, TDC, Coop, Grafik, CA, New York’s AIGA, England’s Design Week, National Post, Creative Review, Design Edge Magazine, GQ and Profit Magazine. Scott has given back to the design community through his roles as President & Chair of the Advertising and Design Club of Canada; Design Instructor at Humber College; Member of PM Forum (International Project Management); and a longstanding member of the RGD (Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario).
Partner, Marketing Strategy
Omar combines expertise in strategy with a flair for client relationships. He has worked as a senior strategist and client partner for most of the global advertising agency networks including WPP, Omnicom, Publicis Groupe and IPG. At BLVD, Omar focuses on Marketing Strategy, Client and Vendor partnerships, and new business development.
His core focus has been on digital and direct marketing initiatives for industries ranging from Automotive and Financial Services to Technology and Packaged Goods. Omar holds an MBA from the Imperial College of Business Studies and is a visiting faculty member at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business and an Adjunct Faculty Member serving the International MBA program at the College of Business and Innovation, University of Toledo.
Norman blends an in-depth understanding of business strategy and brand communications with deep expertise in technology. He has been instrumental to hundreds of successful B2C and B2B integrated programs. Norman is active in all client work from start to finish, bringing a relentless focus to design implementation, UX and technical excellence.
In addition to providing the guidance and direction required for their visual communications, programs and technologies, he advises clients on digital and social media strategies that will best extend their advertising and marketing initiatives while providing valuable information related to their reputation. Norman is a past board member of the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) and his work has been recognized with numerous creative awards including Applied Arts, Communication Arts, and the Advertising and Design Club of Canada.

Alex brings an unrivalled understanding of the marketing and advertising industry with over 20 years of experience as an owner, founder, and partner. His diverse background in advertising, marketing, public relations and technology innovation offers a holistic marketing and communications perspective encompassing a unique blend of owned, paid, earned, search and social media.
Prior to BLVD Alex founded his first venture, Sonic Boom Creative Media in 1996 with Norman Mayot and under his leadership as President & CEO grew it from a home office to a globally respected digital agency. He was instrumental in 2008 acquisition of the agency by NATIONAL Public Relations, a global public relations firm affiliated worldwide with WPP plc.
